Five Random Favs

Hi babies I'm sorry I've been busy for a few days, but here I am again :D
So let's pick five random favs from mine!

1. Hermes Birkin bags

These are the most luxury bags on the market. Their exorbitant cost makes them belong to only a very high social class... but at normal people isn't denied to love them!

2. The "Wreck this journal" journal
Here you are explained shortly what it is: "Go ahead and let it all out with this illustrated journal. Keri Smith encourages you to do your worst through the use of prompts that will help fill up those empty journal pages or in other words destroy them with holes, painting and coffee. Fear the blank page no more and let it all come spilling out with Wreck This Journal."

I'd really love to have one! I loved the WARNING ahahah
You can buy it here.

3. Apple {brand}

I totally love their philosophy and style: easy, smart and unique.
My computer isn't a Mac - sigh - even if I'd LOVE to have one.
I got an iPod nano of the third generation:
{in brackets.. Harry Potter? WTF...?} I have one and I truly love it, and I wouldn't exchange it for nothing - but for an iPod touch :P And when I'll buy it, it must be of 16GB, because my entire library doesn't stay in 8GB :S

4. My Bonsai

I bought it some weeks ago in a greenhouse, and it's growing a little crooked, but I don't know how to educate it :S
I'm sure it's a boy. I haven't given him a name yet, though.
Any suggestion?

Here's his best friend: the vaporizer. He drinks like a drunkard!

5. Help!

Here's my favorite the Beatles' album! And the best songs in it are Another Girl, The Night Before, I've Just Seen A Face, I Need You and Ticket To Ride ♥

Five Random Favs

So let's start the project "Five random favs"! I decided not to link it to a day of the week, because I'm not constant in writing, and in a few weeks school's gonna start - I'm sure it will be a VERY hard year - and who knows if I'll have the time :/

1. Accessories related to passions
I like people who show who they are and what they love trough accessories and clothes.
For example necklaces,

T-Shirts,

Totes!

2. Lady Grey tea
It's my favourite tea, together with Vanilla tea
It's a pity I can't find the packet {like that in the photo} here in Italy :'( There's only Earl Grey, that I don't like that much!

3. Pasta with no condiment at all
I love that that I call "Pasta with nothing", or pasta directly out of the cooking pot. No oil, no butter.
My mum hates me when I ask her that kind of pasta, and specially when I say "I let it stick, then is more yummy!" ahahah.. she can't understand my love.

4. Stationery
I see myself as a stationer. I love the fact that there is such a wide range of paper, pens, pencils, notebooks, glues... I've always been addicted to it. My eyes shine when I see a sale of this kind, and you could imagine how i'm excited now that school is going to start.

5. *Emera Camera bags
I always carry my camera in my bag, even it's not a proper bag for a camera. I'm afraid it would spoil, and so I really need one of these bags. It's a life or die matter!!! Ahah ;D

Holiday's busyness

Hi babies! I've been absent for a few days, I know, I've been busy. Friday I went to Gardaland, the biggest Italy's amusement park! We take a trip there every year, and so it wasn't so exciting, because it never changes.
I'm sorry I got no photos, because I thought it was dangerous to take the camera there - I love my baby too much! However, you could get an idea from these photos:

The only bad thing is that you could wait for the entry in an attraction over an hour! And under the sun isn't pretty lovely.

Tomorrow I'll be busy too: I will go to that amazing park I've told you some posts ago and pic-nic.
I'll have some sunbathe too! Wish me good luck not to sunburn D:

A m a z i n g

Ahah oh God I still can't believe it. Yesterday afternoon I went out by bike with my dad, just hanging out as we always do. We absolutely like biking, we cover also long distances - 30/40 km -, but unluckily mum can't bike anymore and so we're just and always two.
Well, yesterday we decided to go to a city not very distant from ours, and we discovered an AMAZING park with a HUGE lake:

It's the truly perfect place for a pic-nic, there are also barbecues and a bar. We've been searching a place like this for long time! We're gonna spend there lots of hours of sunbathe! :D

4 Simple Goals

Hello sweeties!
I've been smitten by this post in Elycia's blog. She in turn has taken the idea from this blog.
It's about "imposing" ourselves four goals - small or huge - that would make our life "richer and happier", as Elsie says. I think it's a good idea, to take stock of some rules we would like to follow.
And.. yes, maybe I could try. Here mine!

1. Be inspired from something, everyday.
I think it's healthy, being inspired. Ideas are food for creative minds.
You could neva being inspired when you're sad or upset.
My current source of inspiration is typography. I'm addicted to it right now!

2. Learn, discover or realize something everyday.
I'd like to learn an huge quantity of things. I must make a list, someday.
It goes from knitting to playing the guitar, from cooking to speaking German.
Somebody advises to learn a new word everyday, also in other languages. It's one of the healthiest things we could do!
I'm currently learning to crochet. And, oh guys, it's amazing. To create something touchable from almost nothing. My mum is a seamstress, so she can crochet very well, and she's teaching me.

3. Keep everything organized and clean.
There are some people who have the natural attitude to leave everything in order.
Well, I'm the opposite. I make mess everywhere and always. And I hate it, because my brain doesn't work properly with confusion around.

4. Don't make me be upset by the others.
I don't like to say it, but I live better with the fewest people around. I am accustomed to the "public life", but other people - certainly stronger than me - sometimes can easily make me upside down. It's my fault, and I don't want it to happen!

the fifteenth!

Hello! Yesterday was the 15 August, and we went to Brera museum, in Milan. There were a really lot of famous pictures, like:
Andrea Mantegna, Cristo Morto

F. Hayez, Il Bacio

Raffaello, Sposalizio della Vergine

Pellizza da Volpedo, La Fiumana

*Note: Pictures above aren't taken by me

I live pretty near Milan, so it took me half an hour to get there, and I went by subway.
Here's the exterior, fascinating too:

And then, getting to the subway, this singular type of roads - that I love - :

And as the cherry on the cake, after a rainy day, a beautiful rainbow! :D

venerdì 13 agosto 2010

Today I stood alone in front of your house. I had Rock'n'roll in my ears. I stared at your homie for a long long time. I thought I could have absorbed something that's yours. I thought I could have known more about your life, about you. Coz I do not know you anymore.
For a moment I thought I loved you.

I am sorry.

Fabric - ing around

Hello! I'm back from an heavy shopping afternoon.
I went to IKEA and bought fabric that really inspired me {it's the striped one}. I've always loved navy colors, as blue white and red, and I couldn't resist.
The second one isn't "true fabric", because it actually is a plastified paper tablecloth.
It's a lot of time I was searching one like this! Also IKEA sells polka dots fabric, but its dots are BIG!
I couldn't use it for small projects getting the same result!

Borsodi

Again inspired by { designvagabond }, I discovered an amazing artist, Bela Borsodi. His concept of photography is stunning, I really recommend you to have a look at his portfolio.
Here's the photos that most inspired me:

Isn't he great?!

Spark your imagination 500 times over.

I discovered this here: { designvagabond }. I recommend it, it's very inspirational.
I was saying, this collection really knocks me out. I actually don't need it, I confess.. but having it at disposal would expand my creativity. And then, look at here. It is a truly original design idea, to show them all like a paint. But I was wondering: if I have to sharpen one of them? It would be shorter than the others. And it wouldn't be very good looking. The solution is not to use them. But that is really no question.
Vulgarity is used by people who can't express themselves in the proper way. It's also called "speechless".

Let's Sketch!

Hey :) Yesterday night I discovered an amazing website: Sketch Swap.
It gives you at disposal a tablet where you can sketch everything you want and when you end, you can swap it with another, and so receive someone else's sketch.
I think it's used particularly by drawers, because certain sketches are amazing! Here you are some examples:
